I cant pretty much say I'm not pregnant... although I'm not allowed to start my new pills until our new doctor gets back my blood results. I'm OK with it. I mean, we just started trying and with the PCOS I didn't expect to get pregnant quickly anyways.
Our original doctor, Dr. Hayes of Contemporary Women's Care, dumped us. I still feel really screwed over by the whole ordeal with her and the way she did it, but we're both really happy with Dr. Goodman at the Reproductive Medicine Center, so I'm trying to put that whole nightmare behind me... for those of you not on the Nest or who haven't heard I'll give you the details if you want to know, but there's no point in putting them here.
So, were taking a new direction with Dr. Goodman. I am starting an every day routine of yoga and pilates (I was just doing yoga 1-2 a week, but I'm stepping up and adding to it), taking Metformin, starting Weight Watchers, taking Prometrium, and next month we will probably add Clomid back into the mix depending on my test results and Keith's sperm analysis. I know it seems like a lot of fuss for a couple that just started ttc, but I don't want to waste time hoping that my PCO will go away and I'll ovulate normally. We want more than 1 child and I don't want to have babies after 35 so we need to get cracking on this!
I'm excited 'cause the new issue of Conceive magazine has Marti and Emily's stories. They are the sisters in the Dixie Chicks and both of them had infertility issues but now both have beautiful children!!! I'm excited!
Life otherwise has been pretty good. I've had some fall outs with friends and gotten a lot closer with others. We have fostered and adopted a new kitten, Phlox, but lost one of my sweet boys, Zeta. So life is, as usual, bittersweet.
Anyhoots, thanks for reading and I promise to update more in the future!

I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't pregnant yet. I had to add that 'yet' part in there because I know it will happen!
This might sound stupid, but I'm going to ask anyway... Does Pilates help with ovulation? Or are you just doing it to add to yoga? Just curious.
